  • The Library will reopen from Monday 16th November 2020
  • Anyone who wishes to visit Mannix Library can do so from 9 am-3.30 pm Monday to Friday. However, we need to limit the number of people in the library at one time and maintain a pre-arrival register. Can ALL STUDENTS please email to give notice of the date and time of your visit. All visitors will be required to sign in at Reception and comply with the building’s registration protocols before proceeding to the library. Other areas of the building remain closed for the time being.
  • The Click and Collect Service continues for all library users. Books can be requested using the “Collect from CTC Foyer” button on the Mannix Library catalogue or by emailing the library - A staff member will notify you when items are available for pick up (generally the next day). Items will be available from a table in the foyer at Catholic Theological College. Pick up times are from 9 am-3.30 pm Monday to Friday.
  • Please return books during this same time window. A box will be available for this purpose in the CTC foyer. All books returned go through a 72-hour quarantine period before staff return them to the shelves.
  • Library staff continue to be available to complete scanning requests, provide interlibrary loan services, facilitate the Click and Collect Service and assist with all general library enquiries.
  • Please email for all library enquires, to book a visit or request items in advance.

COVID-Safe Plan
Prior to reopening library staff have been finalising preparations, including making sure all our COVID-Safe measures are in place for both staff and visitors. This includes signage, registration, distancing and hygiene regimes. It is important that all visitors comply with the COVID-safe practices in operation at CTC and Mannix Library. This includes not coming to the College if you are unwell or self-isolating for any reason. Wear facemasks while in the library, observe 1.5 m distancing at all times, and follow the signs that are on display.  The library will limit the use of some workstations and study spaces to comply with social distancing measures and increase its cleaning regimes. Please speak to a library staff member if you are unsure about any of these COVID-safe measures.
