Exporting References from Databases

       Although every database might look a little different, they all have the ability to export citations. When exporting a reference from a database, look for a cite button and it will give you options on what type of referencing style you would like to select and how you would like it exported.

To export a citation directly from a database to your EndNote Library:

  • Locate and click on the cite/citation/share button
  • Select your preferred referencing style (Chicago 17th)
  • Click Export RIS File
