Electronic books (eBooks) are referenced in the same way as print books with the addition of an application, device or file format reference, for example, iBooks, Kindle edition, Palm e-book, PDF e-book, etc. For books consulted online, include a URL, DOI or the name of the database. If no fixed page numbers are available, cite a section title or a chapter or other number in the notes, if any (or simply omit). See also Books. Refer to the Chicago Manual of Style Online for further details.

Rule for notes  

First name Surname, Title of Book in Italics (Place of publication: Publishers, Year published), page number, DOI or URL or electronic format if consulted online.

Example of note entry
